CHAT WITH THE BOSS A B-52 pilot (standing under the SAC shield) -- I think he's a
lieutenant colonel -- talks with Col. Edward Nichols, 99th Bombardment Wing
commander, in this 1964 base guide photo. Colonel Nichols later was promoted to
brigadier general and commanded the 57th Air Division at Westover AFB.  The B-52C is
serial number 53-0402.
